Dell has followed up on its tease from last evening by formally launching the Vostro V13. As hinted, the 13-inch aluminum system is as thick as an Adamo (0.65in) but lighter (3.5 pounds) and should cost much less through its use of Intel's CULV platform: it runs on a 10W Celeron, Core 2 Solo or Core 2 Duo that should give it long battery life, although Dell hasn't given an estimate for its useful uptime.

Expansion is relatively large for the class as the V13 can still fit ExpressCard/34 and 5-in-1 memory card readers on the side as well as one each of Ethernet, eSATA, USB and VGA on the back.

Dell’s ultraportable also sports a built-in 1.3MP web camera with microphone, a single speaker, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Gigabit LAN connections, a standard USB port and an eSATA/USB combo port, an ExpressCard slot, a 5-in-1 media card reader, and a VGA port.

Designed Dell Vostro V13 is :

HP Pavilion Slimline Desktop

The HP Pavilion Slimline s3020n ($580 direct) is the first in HP's new breed of Vista-equipped compact PCs, and it adds both styling and strength to an already successful design.

HP has improved its innards over last year's sub-$600 slimline PCs. It has raised the system memory to 1GB and, more important, has added support for the multimedia-friendly HP Pocket Media drive. If you need a second or third PC for the kids or grandparents to use for everyday multimedia tasks, the s3020n is worth a close look.

Among recent small-form-factor PCs, the Slimline PCs look as attractive as the Acer Aspire L310 and almost as good as the Apple Mac mini. The Acer and the Mac mini are smaller, but the HP doesn't require an external power adapter. The s3020n's styling is mostly shiny piano-black, as opposed to last year's silver-gray color scheme.

I like the sleek front panel with its "buttonless" eject mechanism. Just press the indentation on the top of the DVD burner drive, and it pops right open. You can also use the included multimedia keyboard's eject button. I applaud the detail HP has put into its new keyboards, mice, and monitors. All three components match the general styling of HP's new PCs, with glossy black plastic faces with silver accents.

Vizio 37" LCD HDTV Review

Vizio, a brand that often appears in discount club warehouses such as Costco, hits the price / performance sweet spot with this 37-inch LCD TV. The black and silver L37HDTV model offers many basic features and a number of compounds, but excel in our TV viewing tests.

Overall our jurors were satisfied with the overall results of our tests standard definition and high definition. Television produced reds and greens very well saturated in high definition.

In one scene in a showroom of antique cars, the color of the red cars achieved a good balance - bright without being unnatural. Hi-definition TV broadcasts were good, too. Skin tones in a George Lopez sequence provided natural-looking skin tones.

L37HDTV avoid the cakey tones that some competing units exhibited, showing lighter skinned actors in a more natural light. One juror commented on noticeable artifacts on red plaid curtains in the background, but another expressed satisfaction with "good bread" when the camera moves from left to right to follow one of the players.

Vizio 37" LCD HDTV Features :

37” Diagonal Liquid Crystal Flat Panel with 16:9 Aspect Ratio.
High Definition Television (HDTV) with a native resolution of 1366 x 768.

Wide viewing angle (176º) so that everyone can view the picture from practically anywhere in the room.
PIP and POP side-by-side for ultimate video enjoyment while watching 2 video programs at the same time.
50,000 Hour Lamp Life provides over 20 years of use before half brightness (based on an average of 6 hours / day use).

Samsung I5700 Galaxy :

Samsung I5700 Spica Galaxy (or Galaxy Lite if you prefer) is officially available, and has some multimedia muscle for Flex. Android is the first to come with DivX support and engine specifications DNSe 2.0 audio.

The Spica Galaxy Cupcake Samsung running version of Android (v1.5) and trade away a couple of things that older brother, had Samsung I7500 Galaxy. This means that the screen is the same size and resolution, although instead of AMOLED TFT, built-in 8 GB of storage space is gone (although I5700 supports up to 32 GB microSD card), the camera has been banished to 3 megapixels (bottom 5), and 3G connectivity is a bit more limited - dual-band 3G up to 3.6 Mbps.

In the mouth, has Spica I5700 Galaxy a 800 MHz CPU, making it the fastest CPU in Android-land, so we are very surprised by their mid-range hopes. Actually, it takes more than many of the other features of the original galaxy, Wi-Fi, GPS, tight integration with Google services (Gmail, market, etc.), 3.5mm audio jack and a battery of 1500 mAh.

Samsung I7500 Galaxy :

New Samsung i7500 Galaxy makes it the first manufacturer HTC after entering the game for Android, and does so with a function, rather than the traditional telephone.

Exclusive to O2 in Britain, the Galaxy is a smart proposal, but is it enough to consider the Koreans firmly into the Android game.

Galaxy has three properties i7500 obvious when you read it: it is very thin 11.9mm thick, it feels very light at 116g and 3.2 inch screen is not very big, but it overlooks the chassis. The screen also incorporates the latest OLED technology from Samsung, which makes the screen bright and vivid.
